tramitar el registro de conducir internacional?

Quería consultar si hace falta tramitar el registro de conducir internacional para rentar auto en Cuba o si con el registro de conducir argentino estaría bien, ya que en otros países lo aceptan.

ARTICULO 246.-Los extranjeros o cubanos residentes en el extranjero que se encuentren transitoriamente en el territorio nacional, podrán conducir vehículos de motor de los comprendidos en las categorías “A” y “B” dela clasificaciónde la licencia de conducción nacional, durante un período improrrogableseis meses, contados a partir de la fecha de entrada en el territorio nacional, siempre que posean una licencia o autorización oficialen pleno vigor que los capacite para conducir tales vehículos en su país de residencia.
